Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 packages (6 oz.) strawberry jello
2 containers (24 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries with sugar, thawed
4 cups of water
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
First layer:

Boil 2 cups of water.

In a large bowl, add the boiling water to one package of the strawberry gelatin mix; stir for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.

Add one container of the thawed strawberries and the juice. The juice should make 2 cups. If not, use cold water to make up for it. Mix well.

Pour the jello/strawberry mixture into a serving bowl or a 9" x 13" glass pan.

Chill in the refrigerator until the layer has jelled.

Spread a layer of sour cream over the first layer and put it back in the refrigerator.

Second layer: (same as first layer)

Boil 2 cups of water.

In a large bowl, add the boiling water to the last package of the strawberry gelatin mix; stir for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.

Add the last container of the thawed strawberries and the juice. The juice should make 2 cups. If not, use cold water to make up for it. Mix well.

Very slowly, add the jello/strawberry mixture on top of the layer of sour cream (I use a measuring cup).

Chill in the refrigerator. When the layer has jelled, it is ready to serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
For less strawberries per layer, you can use the 15.5 oz. containers. I usually use the smaller containers. Sometimes a little bit of the sour cream might come up to the second layer while adding the second layer. I just try to pour slowly and scoop/spoon out the sour cream that's floating.:) I think it helps to let the layer of sour cream chill in the refrigerator while making the second layer, though. This is one of my favorites. It's been on my side/family for years.:)
