2 LBS Ground Beef
1 LB Ground Pork
1 Onion, chopped
2 Eggs
1 Can Tomato Paste
1 Large Can Tomato Sauce
Tomato Juice
1 Cabbage
Salt
Pepper
1 Bag Saurkraut

Directions:
Directions:
Wilt Cabbage in boiling water until the leave are loose. If available you can buy a "sour head" which is a pickled cabbage head and you would not need to boil it.
Mix all ingredients together.
Form small loaves that will fill the center of a cabbage leaf then roll the cabbage around the meat. Place in large stock pot or dutch oven, leaf edge side down.
Pour Tomato Juice over the cabbage rolls.
Put Sauerkraut on top.
Cover and cook for 1 hour on medium heat.

You can order Sour Heads from Jim's on Union Ave in Alliance at Thanksgiving time to be picked up for New Years. You can buy fresh Sauerkraut at White House Farms in Salem the week between Christmas and New Years.
