1½ lb beef stew meat (cut in 1" cubes)
2 T cooking oil
1 c chopped carrots
1 c sliced onion
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
¼ c brown sugar
¼ c vinegar
1 T worcestershire sauce
4 t corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in oil. Add next six ingredients plus ½ cup water and 1 t salt. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender (2 hours). Combine corn starch, ¼ cup cold water, mix well and add to beef. Cook and stir until thickened. Garnish with carrot curls and parsley if choose. Serve over hot cooked noodles. (Can be served over hot baked buns, toast, mashed potatoes, etc.) Serves 4-6.
