3 Cups Cooked and Mashed Sweet Potatoes
1 Cup Sugar
⅓ Cup Butter, melted, PLUS
3 Tbsps melted butter for topping
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp ground Cinnamon
¼ Tsp ground Nutmeg
¼ Cup heavy cream, half/half or whole milk (whatever your preference is)
1 Cup Brown Sugar (dark)
1 Cup chopped Pecans
⅓ Cup all purpose flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325º

Mix the sweet potatoes, sugar, spices, ⅓ Cup butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add cream, mix well. Pour into a well greased casserole dish (approx. 1 ½ Qt.) Add topping then bake for 25-30 minutes.

For the TOPPING:

Mix together 3 Tbsps butter, brown sugar, flour and nuts with a fork then sprinkle over the top of the casserole.

Hubby does not like marshmallows on sweet potatoes BUT this recipe he sure does LOVE!!!!
