2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
¼ c. cocoa
½ c. milk
¼ tsp. vanilla
⅔ c. peanut butter
2¾ c. quick oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Measure the sugar, margarine, cocoa powder and milk into a sauce pan.
Stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
Allow it to boil for 1 minute and 45 seconds.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and peanut butter until smooth.
Add the oatmeal and mix well.
Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or foil.
Allow them to harden before serving.

Every now and then, Tom pops up out of his chair and digs out his Mom's No Bake recipe. Children who've been holed up in their bedrooms appear with spoons to carry globs of molten chocolate from the foil long before the cookies have had time to harden. :)
