1/3 c. butter
4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2-3 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency. If necessary, thin with additional milk. Frosts 13x9 cake or 2-layer cake.

Cream cheese: Substitute 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese for butter

Peanut butter: Cream 3 T. peanut butter with butter
