1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 T juice from cherries
1½ cups flour
20 to 25 maraschino cherries, patted dry
20 to 25 milk chocolate chips; plus 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream brown sugar and butter together.
Add vanilla; juice from cherries, and flour. Mix well.
Chill dough for at least 1 hour before baking.
Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip; then wrap into 1 T dough.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool
Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over low heat or in the microwave and dip top of cookies in melted chocolate.
