I have had this recipe in my box since I left home! I believed with all my heart it was Grandma's recipe that Mom let me copy down from her recipe box one day. One day after marrying Jason he wanted to make chocolate chip cookies and was going to use some random recipe he had. I insisted he HAD to use my Grandmother's recipe. I finally found it ...it hadn't gotten placed back in my box. Jason got busy in the kitchen and said, " Hey babe, your Grandma's recipe is so special they put it on the chocolate chip bag!" Shortly after that I happened to catch an old episode of Friends where Phoebe's Grandma's secret Toll house cookie recipe was the same as on the bag of chocolate chips. We still laugh about it now and say we're making Grandma's special cookies!
