Sour cream Pastry
21/2 c a.p. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2c. Cold butter cubed
1/2c. Cold lard cubed
1/4c. Ice water
2-3 tbsp. Sour cream.

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk flour and salt
Cut butter and lard into flour with a pastry blender until it is fine crumbs.
Make it up ahead of time and refrigerate. It will keep for weeks at this stage, and be convenient, also it is cold and easier to work with.
Take out amount you can easily roll out, add just enough water/sour cream to make a ball, roll out on floured board, l put waxed paper (cereal box liners are better because they are heavier) on top of the dough when rolling.
