4 slices bacon
2 Tablespoons chopped onions
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 Tablespoons White vinegar
˝ cup water
1⅓ cups mayonnaise or Miracle Whip

Directions:
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp and brown; drain and crumble; set aside.
2. Sauté onion in bacon drippings until tender.
3. Add sugar, vinegar, and water. Bring to a boil.
4. Cool.
5. Combine with mayonnaise/Miracle Whip; beat until smooth.
6. Stir in bacon chips.
Chill. Store in refrigerator. Storage time is one (1) month. Makes 1 pint.
