1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk*
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2½ cups flour
2 cups rhubarb, diced
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Few drops of water, milk, lemon or orange juice

Directions:

Grease two 5x9 inch loaf pans.
Mix all ingredients until smooth.
Pour into loaf pans.
Bake at 350º for one hour
Test with toothpick to see if done.
Cool on rack for 10 mintes and tip out of pans.
Mix together glaze ingredients and glaze while still warm.

*To make sour milk, add 1 T vinegar to 1 cup milk and let stand 5 minutes.
Freezes well.
