Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 packages dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
Pinch of sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
5 1/2 - 6 cups flour
1 egg beaten lightly beaten
1/2 cup white hulled sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast, warm water and a pinch of salt. Add cold milk to butter to cool it, mix eggs gradually. Beat in 1 cup flour and baking powder until smooth. Add yeast mixture and 2 more cups of flour and baking powder beat until smooth. Add remaining flour slowly while kneading, using only enough flour to keep dough not sticky. Dough will pull away from sides and form a ball. Knead well until you have a smooth ball.
Transfer to a large greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap. Put in warm place for 1-1 1/2 hours.
Cut dough to size of a small orange and roll and knot. Or roll into a long log and cut on the diagonal. Place on sheet pan and cover with wax paper, let rise for 45 minutes. Brush with egg and sprinkle with seeds.
Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes.
Yeild 3 dozen
