"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Directions:
Dice chicken into bite size pieces and marinade in 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce for at least an hour.
Pop tips off of all green beans, rinse and set aside.
Dump chicken with marinade into hot pan, stirring to make sure all sides are seared. Add remaining teriyaki sauce, minced garlic and onion then cover. Let simmer on a medium heat for 5 minutes.
Once 5 minutes has passed, drain most of the juice out of the pan and give a good stir. Set green beans atop the chicken. Add soy and ginger then increase heat to medium high. Cover and let simmer for 5-6 minutes.
Remove lid and carefully stir everything together. Lower heat, replace lid and let simmer for 5 more minutes. Give one last stir and serve. Goes very well with egg noodles.
