½ cup of butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ cup of sugar
2 tsp. cocoa
2 oz. red food coloring
2 eggs
½ tsp. salt
1 cup butter milk
2¼ cups of flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vinegar

Combine all ingredients and bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes

This is another favorite dessert of mine that we eat at family gatherings. In my opinion, I think it is very easy to make because the directions are very simple. This dessert is very special to me because it will always remind me of the great times we have as a family. This recipe has been passed down to me by my aunt and I plan on passing it down to my children as well.
