8 slices fried and crumbled bacon
2 cups par-boiled chopped potatoes
1 cups chopped onion
6 ounces sour cream
1¼ cups evaporated milk
3 par-boiled chopped carrots
3 pieces sliced american cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
¼ - ½ tsp. pepper (depending on taste)
¼ tsp thyme
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
After veggies are parboiled, saute' in bacon grease until tender.
Add all other ingredients.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve alone or with a sandwich of your choice.
