Mix together 1 egg
1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. maple syrup
1/4 C. melted shortening
Add; 2 C. flour
1/4 C. sugar
1 tsp.salt
3 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Stir until flour is moistened. Batter should be lumpy. Do Not over mix.
Fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full.

Bake @ 400º

For 20 - 25 minutes

Makes 12 medium muffins
