1/4 c chopped shallots
1/4 c red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper, divided
1 (1 - 1/2 lb) flank steak
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients in a large ziplock bag with 1/2 tsp pepper and the flank steak. Squeeze air out of ziplock and seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 8 hrs or overnight.
Heat grill to pretty hot (500 deg). Remove flank steak. Discard marinade. Sprinkle steak with 1/2 tsp pepper and salt. Place steak on grill and cook 6 min on each side. Let rest for 5 min and then cut thin on the diagonal.
