4 eggs
2 cups sifted "all purpose flour"
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups of buttermilk (or) 1 cup dairy sour cream mixed with 1 cup of milk
1 cup of melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat waffle iron.
Beat eggs until light. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add flour mixture and buttermilk. Alternate to beaten eggs, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Add melted butter and blend thoroughly.

For each waffle, pour batter into the center of lower half of waffle iron until it spreads to 1-inch from edge, (about 1/2 cup).

Cook according to waffle iron.
