2 c flour
1/3 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 stick butter
3/4 c sliced almonds/toasted
1 egg
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 c milk
1 egg white mixed with 1/2 tsp water for glaze
1 T coarse sugar

1 stick butter softned
2 T honey
! T Amaretto Liqueur

bake 375
sift together flour sugar baking powder salt and cinnamon. cut in butter until is in coarse crumbs.
stir in almondsIn separate bowl, whisk together whole egg, almond extract and milk. Make a well in center of the dry ingrediants and pour in liquids.Combine and form into ball. Do not over mix
Place on floured board and pat into a 8 inch circle, cut into wedges. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle on the coarse sugar. Place on baking sheet and cook 30 to 35 mins.
Whip up the butter honey and amaretto and spread on cooked scones.
