Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 8 lbs. appetizer wings 2 sticks margarine 6 oz. hot sauce 1/8 cup soy sauce ¼ tsp garlic powder 1 ¼ tsp BBQ seasoning
|
|
Directions: |
Directions:Deep fry wings following directions on pkg for deep frying method. Usually about 12 minutes at 350*.
Melt butter in fry pan on low heat. Add above ingredients one at a time in the order they appear. Once sauce is well blended, put a few wings at a time into the pan and stir them around (Mom puts them into a tupperware bowl with locking lid and shakes) to coat well. Remove and continue with remaining wings. You can cover them with foil and set oven on lowest setting to keep them warm, but not too long, or it will dry them back out.
Serve with ranch dressing for dipping. |

Notes: Rachel was making these hot wings long before hot wings became so popular. We were doing Monday night football games and parties long before Hank Williams Jr shouted "Are you ready for some football." This recipe of hers can be adjusted for heat with various amounts of hot sauce, and is just great!!
