3 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar to beaten eggs in top of double boiler or heavy sauce pan. Add milk and cook until mixture coats a silver spoon. Remove immediately from heat. Cool slightly and add extracts. The secret in making this custard is to cook no longer than the very minute the mixture coats a spoon.
