1 lb. ground hamburger
1 lb. ground mild pork sausage
1 package McCormick hot chili mix
1 package McCormick mild chili mix
1 diced green pepper
1 diced red pepper
1 diced red onion
1 can of RO-TEL hot tomatos
1 can of RO-TEL mild tomatoes
1 can sweet whole corn
1 can red kidney beans
1 can of tomato paste
1/2 cup of maple syrup
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Cornstarch (to thicken if needed)


Secret Ingredient
Sweet n' low (to add desired sweetness)


Note
to make hotter chili use hot sausage, all hot chili mix, and all hot RO-TEL tomatoes

Brown the hamburger and sausage in a 14'' skillet, drain and set aside
Sauté peppers and onions with olive oil until soft
Add meat, chili mix, following direction on mix, drain cans of juice and add remaining ingredients and heat. If chili is watery add cornstarch to thicken
