1/2 lb. butter
1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2/3 C unsweetened cocoa
2 1/3 C flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs. white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

Beat the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the cocoa and then add the remaining ingredients. Bake at 350º for about 15 minutes.

This recipe from Barefoot Contessa is a fun variation on the chocolate chip cookie! If you want a soft cookie, remove them from the oven when they seem just slightly underdone.
