What You’ll Need:

2 bowls
An electric mixer
1- 6-cup muffin tin
Paper baking liners
Milkbones
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
¼ cup peanut butter
¼ olive oil
1 cup shredded carrrot
⅓ cup honey
1 egg
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup honey

Directions:
Directions:
1. In one bowl, mix up your dry ingredients—the flour, baking soda, and salt. In the other bowl, combine the ¼ peanut butter and the olive oil using an electric mixer until smooth and then add in your carrots, egg, and ⅓ cup of honey. Mix it all up before adding in the ingredients from your dry bowl.

2. Take your muffin tin and line all 6 cups with paper liners before filling each one with your cake batter. Toss the whole thing in a pre-heated 350° F oven for 25 minutes and while these puppies (sorry) are getting nice and toasty, it’s time to make the frosting. Mix together your softened cream cheese, ½ cup of peanut butter, and ¼ cup honey until super smooth. When your cupcakes are done, let them cool down a bit and then spread the tops with a thick layer of this canine-friendly frosting.

3. All that’s left is to decorate the pupcakes with colorful milkbones (or your furry friend's favorite treat) and you’ve got yourself one heck of a treat for that special dog in your life. Use these at your next puppy birthday party, or next time you just feel like showing a little love—but remember, no matter how good they may smell, keep in mind who these are really for!

PLEASE NOTE: Some peanut butter brands contain the ingredient Xylitol. This one ingredient could be DEADLY for your dog. Please check your peanut butter label for Xylitol and DO NOT ever give to your precious pooch! It is like poison for him/her!

Personal Notes:
Even fussy Charlie thinks these are awesome! Due to his small size, I only give him a partial Pup Cake at one time. Make these special treats for the most loyal companion and admirer that you'll ever have!
