Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Cups Plus 2 Tbsp. (10.5 oz.) Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
Dash Salt
1 Tbsp. Milk
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Pkg. Vanilla Sugar
1 Egg
3/4 Cup Plus 1 Tbsp. (5.5 oz) butter or margarine (use unsalted butter)

Topping:
1/2 lb. Butter really soft
1/2 lb. almonds, slices
2 - 4 Tbsp. cream/fat milk
1/2 lb. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Honey
1/4 Tsp. Almond Flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter with flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, sugar and alt.

Make a well in the centre and add the egg and milk. Mix into the flour mixture with a fork. Then kneed and roll out to fit a large cookie sheet. I roll right onto the cookie sheet, way easier. Puncture with a fork. Brush with water just before pouring in almond mixture

Fold together runny butter, almond, sugar and honey in a medium to large pot. Stir together while you cook. Cook until sugar is dissolved, or desired doneness. Don't over do it.

Remove from heat and add almond cream flavouring

Have the pastry on the cookie sheet ready, puncture with fork and brush with water.

Pour topping onto pastry.

Bake at 350º for 20 - 30 minutes.

This boils over easily. You may want to put foil under or use a pan with higher edges.

pan size 11" x 17" x 1"
