1 pound powdered sugar- sifted
1 T. lemon juice

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except food coloring. Beat at high speed for 2-3 minutes. Make thick.

This recipe is the icing for cutout cookies. I picked up this recipe at Radio City Music Hall in New York City when attending a Christmas show in 1995. We make several colors using small bowls for each color.
