Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 large peppers
1 cup uncooked rice
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion diced
1 28 oz can tomato sauce
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes (Hunts work best)
Salt and Pepper
Garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cut top off peppers, leaving as much intact as possible. Clean peppers and wash.
Mix ground beef, onions, rice and spices. Lightly pack peppers with mixture, and stand upright in large pot. Take any extra and make balls tightly packed. Fill pot with water to cover peppers 2/3 up the side. Pour tomato sauce over tops of peppers and into water, then repeat with crushed tomatoes (do crushed last so they stay on top of the peppers). Cover and simmer on low until peppers are cooked but slightly firm, and the rice is cooked. Remove peppers and any additional balls and keep warm.

Heat remaining juice (probably with some rice and meat) to medium heat. If any peppers burned, pour juice into new pot. Mix sour cream in to taste-start with a tablespoon or two and see how you like it. Add salt and pepper.

Served with mashed potatoes if you really want to do it the Slavic way!
