8 c flour
1 Tbsp salt
2/3 c powdered milk
3/4 c sugar
3/4 shortening
2 eggs, well, beaten
1 Tbsp vanilla
3 Tbsp yeast
3 c water
2 Tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1 c warm water with 2 Tbsp sugar. Melt shortening in 1 c hot water, then add 1 c cold water. Cool to warm. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together. Add to liquid ingredients and mix. (dough will be sticky to handle) Mix well and let rise until double in bulk. Turn out on well floured board. Roll out into a rectangle shape. Spread dough with 1 c melted butter, then sprinkle with 1 1/2 c sugar or brown sugar, mixed with 2 Tbsp cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut into 24 equal rolls. Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise until double.
Bake at 350º for 15-18 minutes. Cool to warm and then frost.
