1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups sugar
5 egg yolks
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 cup buttermilk
5 egg whites
1 2/3 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Sift flour and soda. Add alternately with one cup of buttermilk. Beat egg whites and fold into the batter with the coconut. Bake in 3 layer pans 30 to 45 minutes at 350º.

1 box confectioners sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts (pecans or English walnuts)

Combine and frost cake. I prefer pecans. Oleo can be substituted, but butter is tastier.
