1 yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 stick oleo
1 can mandarin oranges (reserve 1/2 cup juice)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Beat the cake mix, eggs and melted oleo, vanilla and 1/2 cup mandarin orange juice for 4 minutes. Add the oranges and beat until the pieces are small. Put in greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350º; cool.
 

Topping for cake

1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (reserve juice)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the crushed pineapple. Blend the pineapple juice and instant pudding. Add powdered sugar, then drained pineapple. Fold in Cool Whip. Frost cake. Refrigerate several hours.
