2 Tbsp. Olive oil
2 cups diced celery
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup diced onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. celery seeds
1/2 tsp.ground pepper
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/3 cup small pasta
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
1 3/4 cups cannellini beans
1/2 cups celery leaves, divided
1/4 cup parmigiana- reggiano cheese, plus more for serving

Directions:

heat oil in large saucepan soup pot over medium heat. Add celery, carrot, onion, garlic, celery seeds, and pepper. Cook stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
Add broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook uncovered until pasta is tender 8-10 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, 1/2 the celery leaves, and 1/4 cup cheese. Cook over medium heat until steaming hot, 3-5 minutes.
Serve with celery leaves and cheese.
