2 pie crusts
1 can cherries with water--drained
1 can cherries with heavy syrup
¼ c. tapioca
1 c. sugar
½ t. almond extract
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375º
Line glass pie dish with one crust,
Drain water from one can of cherries. Combine with cherries in heavy syrup. Add tapioca, sugar, and almond extract and stir. Pour into crust. Top with cut up pieces of butter. Add top crust and sprinkle with sugar--cut vents. Cover crust edge with foil and bake 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
