¼ cup butter or margarine
¾ cup of white sugar OR ½ cup sugar and ¼ cup sugar substitute
1 egg, beaten
1 ½ cups flour
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
½ cup milk
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Directions:

Heat oven to 400º

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, mix well.

In another bowl mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Stir just until moistened. Fold in the blueberries.

Spoon batter into greased muffin tins or use paper liners.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Excellent recipe because you substitute Splenda or other sugar substitute for some of the white sugar.
Don't use those giant frozen blueberries because they have too much moisture in them. Use the wild blueberries instead.
