1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
1 c. confectioner's sugar
2T. cocoa
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. rum

Directions:
Directions:
Grind or roll the vanilla wafers until very fine. Mix with th sugar and cocoa then add pecans, corn syrup, and rum. Stir until stiff. Coat hands with confectioner's sugar, roll the above mixture into balls about the size of a walnut and let stand for an hour to dry somewhat. Roll the balls in confectioner's sugar and store in a tin container, where they will keep for several weeks.
