5 quarts chopped, peeled tomatoes
1 cup chopped hot peppers
2 cups green peppers
5 cloves of garlic
4 large onions
3/4 - 1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 - 2 cups vinegar
3 tablespoons salt

Cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally

I have very fond memories, as I'm sure Zach does too, of us as kids "helping" mom and dad make salsa every fall. When we were younger, Zach and I would wear goggles when they were chopping onions so we wouldn't "cry." I also remember waiting to hear the jar lids seal with a pop and look to see which ones were sealed.
