1 pkg (8 squares) semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup chopped or halved nuts

Directions:

Melt chocolate in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. (Or heat in 1-1/2-qt bowl in microwave at high power for 2 minutes; stir and heat 30 seconds longer.) Stir in nuts. Pour onto waxed paper-lined baking sheet, spreading until about 1/4 inch thick. (Or spoon chocolate mixture into 36 paper or foil bonbon cups.) Top with additional chopped or halved nuts, if desired. Chill until chocolate is firm. Lift candy from pan; remove paper and cut candy into bars or squares.

Or use:

2/3 cup each raisins and chopped nuts
1 cup trail mix or chopped mixed candied fruit
1/2 cup each chopped dried apricots and coconut flakes
