½ c. shortening or butter
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix until moist. Knead. Bake at 400ºF 12-15 mins.
I put this in a round cake pan. I also add raisins to mix, Just a few makes it taste sweeter.
