Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 oz tuna (fresh)
1 tablespoon blackened spice (I like Paul Prudhomme's Magic Spice)
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 tablespoon wasabi sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Slice tuna into 1/4 inch slices following the grain of the fish
Put melted butter into small saucer and use another saucer for blackened spice
In a side dish mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, and wasabi sauce until well blended and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Preheat medium skillet preheat on stovetop until a drop of water dances around the pan
Dip tuna into butter just coating one side and litely sprinkle blackened spice by pinch on buttered side of tuna (you want just enough spice to taste and not overpower the fish)
Add spice side down to hot skillet and cook for three minutes, do not turn over to cook the other side or it will over cook and become tough. Top side should look nice and pink.
Serve with spiced mayo as a dipping sauce.

You may want to turn on your exhaust fan because this will create a little smoke when you fast cook like this.

Personal Notes:
To add a little special taste, drizzle your plate first with a little raspberry or blueberry syrup and add the cooked tuna on top of it. Remember you only want a hint of the taste of the syrup to shine through, although the tuna is awesome on its own.
