1 rolled-out basic tart dough round
3 large whole eggs, plus
3 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
¾ C (6 oz) sugar
¾ C (6 oz) fresh lemon juice, strained (about 6 large lemons)
2 T finely grated lemon zest
¾ C (6 oz) unsalted butter, cut into ¼" cubes
sweetened whipped cream

Fold dough round in half and carefully transfer to a 9½ inch tart pan, preferably with a removable bottom.
