2 cups carrots
onions
celery
potatoes
cabbage
turnip
frozen corn
frozen peas
2 lbs of stewing beef (browned)
1 Tlb salt
4 Tlb minute tapioca

Directions:
Directions:

Cut all the vegetables (but frozen corn and peas) and put in roast pan. Defat and cut up 2 lbs of stewing beef and brown in frying pan. Add meat to veggies and rince fry pan with a cup of water to get all the brownings and add to veggies too.(stops them from sticking) Add the tapioca Cook at 275º for 4 hours with a lid on. Then add frozen corn and peas and cook another hour.

This makes a very large stew so its great for a crowd. Serve with fresh tea biscuits or bread.
