Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2/3 cup of white glue
2-4 tbsp liquid laundry starch
food coloring (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir coloring (if used) into glue. Add liquid starch in small amounts stirring after each addition. Then slick your hands with a little more starch and pull the "glob" from hand to hand until it becomes a cohesive mass. If it doesn't turn to putty, you'll need a little more liquid starch. The more starch you add, the less sticky (harder) the silly putty gets, and less stretchy and easy to blow bubbles with. Finding the consistency you like best is part of the fun. You can't add more glue to the batch, so it is best to add the liquid starch very cautiously. Silly putty can be stretched, squeezed, pinched, bounced on clean hard surfaces, and blown into super bubbles with a straw.

When not in use, store silly putty in a container with an air tight lid. It will stay playful for weeks. It can be soaked out of clothing if caught before going through the dryer.
