1 chopped onion
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
3 cups water
3 tsp lawry's seasoned salt (or 4-5 chicken bouillon cubes)
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cubed potatoes
2 cups broccoli florets
1 lb cubed velveeta cheese
3-4 cups milk (use evaporated milk, half and half, or cream for extra richness)

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in butter until tender. Add water, salt, pepper, and potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes. Add broccoli and cook another 5 minutes until broccoli is al dente. Add cubed cheese and stir until melted. Add milk and heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
