Saltine crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg.(12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cover a 10 x 15 inch baking sheet with foil. Lay crackers side by side to fill entire bottom of pan. Mix butter and sugar in saucepan; bring to boil. Stir constantly boiling for 3 minutes; remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over crackers; spread to cover. Bake in 400ºF oven for 6 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread like frosting as chocolate melts. Top with nuts and cool. When cool, peel off foil and break into pieces. Store in cool place.
Note: Try with Waverly/Club crackers or graham crackers. Can also substitute nuts with 1 cup cocktail peanuts, 1 cup broken pretzels and/or 3/4 cup mini M & M's.
