1 1/2 Cup Shortening
2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Cup Applesauce
4 1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Cloves
1 Cup Walnuts; chopped
1 1/2 Cup Raisins

Directions:
Directions:
-Preheat Oven to 350

-Cream Sugar and Shortening
-Add egg.
-Add applesauce.
-Slowly add flour and spices.
-Hand stir in nuts and raisins.

-Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

-Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
