1 lb smoked fish fillets
large onion chopped
4 medium potatoes chopped
3 tbsp. margarine
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 c boiling water
2 2/3 c milk scalded
2/3 c evaporated milk
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fillets into five or six pieces. In large saucepan sauté onion in margarine until golden. Add potatoes, salt, pepper and boiling water. Arrange fish on top, cover and simmer 15 to 20 min or until vegetables are tender. Add scalded milk, evaporated milk and butter. Heat.
