2 cups sugar
½  cup butter
3 ½ cups chunk pineapple - drained

2 eggs - beaten
½ cup milk
8 slices of fresh bread - cubed
 

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar & butter. Add beaten eggs. Add milk, then pineapple. Stir in bread cubes. Bake in greased dish. Bake at 350º for 40 min. or 325º for 45 min..

(I found 1 can pineapple = 2 cups so often use 2 cans or 1¾ cans)
I think Italian bread works best. Recipe can be doubled for company.
