Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup light karo syrup
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp vanila

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, karo syrup, butter and salt in pan.
Cook to brittle ball ( 250-268 degrees on a candy thermometer)
Add vanilla .
Pour over popped corn and stir.
Wet hands in cold water and form into balls.

Several drops of food coloring can be added to syrup before pouring on to pop corn -- red or green for Christmas; orange for Halloween.
