1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion
1/2 green bell pepper
1 can tomato soup
1/2 can water
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Soak ground beef in water for 15 min. and break apart with spatula. Drain water off and place in skillet with chopped onion and pepper. Cook until hamburger is cooked and drain off rest of the water. You want to the meat to be very fine. Add in the soup, water and seasonings. Continue to cook until you get a thicker substance and almost all of the water has cooked off. Serve on potato rolls with cheese if you like and a side of kettle cooked potato chips.

This is the steamer recipe I've been looking for for years. It tastes just like the ones we used to get in Boonsboro, but only people from that part of Maryland truly know what a steamer is. Yummy!!!
