1/2 cup water (COLD)
2 T cornstarch
3 cups sugar
(Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon for apples)

Preheat oven to 425º

Add water, cornstarch, bring to boil until clear paste. When it is a solid mass, lower heat and add sugar. It will liquidfy (dd whatever spices needed at this time).

Bring to boil again. It will thicken (couple of minutes), then pour over fruit and it's ready to be baked.

Bake at 425º for 15 minutes. Then 45 minutes at 350º.
