pears or peaches, take out seeds in plums -
Sugar
SureJell.
Water

Directions:
Peel pears or peaches, take out seeds in plums - do not peel plums just cut in half. Put sugar over fruit and let it stay overnight (or 12 hours). Cook over medium heat until juice is thick (takes about 4 hours to cook). I did not use SureJell. Takes about as much sugar as you have fruit.

When making jelly, buy SureJell. Cook plums with water then strain through cheese cloth. Put just enough water to see. Not all the way over fruit,

When making pear preserves, use 1/2 as much sugar as pears. (2 mixing bowls pears / 1 mixing bowl sugar)
